Our Story
When my brother and I entered our family business in the early 2000s, we stayed true to our roots and helped transform Fair Deal to meet the changing needs of our customers.
We now offer a wider selection of furniture styles, including a variety of Canadian-made furniture, a price guarantee, and financing options. And just like our mom offered her customers when she started, we will always do our best to find you exactly what you have in mind for your home, at a price that is fair.
Having been part of the Calgary community for over 30 years, we are honoured that so many of our customers (and now their children, and even grandchildren!) continue to choose us for their furniture needs.

Did You Know?
Fair Deal Furniture was started in 1991 by an immigrant woman of colour!
Our mom, warmly known by many as Mrs. Singh, started Fair Deal Furniture in the summer of 1991. At the time, our parents were still new to Canada and lived in beautiful NE Calgary with their three small children.
Without prior experience in business, and as the only immigrant woman entrepreneur in the local furniture market at the time, our mom ran Fair Deal the best way she knew how: by caring about each customer and employee just as she would her own family.
